Concordia Children's Services, Inc. was founded in 1983, in partnership with another child caring agency for abandoned and neglected children. As the organization grew, we were incorporated. In 1988, our name was changed to Concordia to reflect our Lutheran heritage.

In 1989 we expanded to serve the street and urban poor children in Pasig City. By 1996, we expanded again to serve the needs of street and urban poor children in the Santa Mesa area, which is in the center of Manila.

We expanded serving babies and street children in 2013 by renovating the Santa Mesa location, and adding space for our orphans and street children to have more resources. We also added added additional social workers. In 2015 we were awarded with the highest level of accreditation by the Philippine government's Department of Social Services for the care we give to our children and the sytems in place for accountability. The number of underprivileged children we serve in our sponsorship program also increased from 80 to 104 elementary and high school children.
